Recycling

There are a number of ways that you can Recycle and support us.

Get rid of your unwanted car. Fast, free and help support St Elizabeth Hospice.

Giveacar is a not-for-profit social enterprise that can turn your old car into cash for the hospice. They arrange free collection, and then either sell your car at auction or scrap it with the proceeds (minus service fees) raised going to us.  Their expertise allows them to maximise the value of your car so you can guarantee your donation will raise the most it can and do the most good for charity.

Donating your car happens in 3 easy steps:

Step 1 – Tell them about your unwanted vehicle. They’ll collect it for free.

Step 2 – Depending on its condition, your vehicle will be either auctioned or scrapped.

Step 3 – The proceeds are donated to your chosen charity – St Elizabeth Hospcie and you’ll receive a receipt.

It’s as easy as that! If you need to get rid of an old car and would like to do some good at the same time, call Giveacar on 020 7736 4242 or find out more at https://giveacar.co.uk

Recycle your printer cartridges

As we are working at home or home schooling, all those empty ink cartridges are mounting up.  Did you know that you can recycle your cartridges through Recycle4Charity and raise money for the hospice?

Step 1 - Log on to https://www.recycle4charity.co.uk/Register/C96976

Step 2 - Complete the information and print off the label

Step 3 - Send your cartridges and the funds will be sent directly to St Elizabeth Hospice

Stamps

Donate your stamp collections, used and new stamps to the hospice and we can in turn this into cash to support our work.

Instead of just throwing used envelopes away, save the corner with the stamp on and give it to us. We have a team of volunteers who sort through them and sell to dealers, collectors and on eBay. Any stamps will do – vintage stamps, First Class, Second Class, special edition and foreign!

Get in touch to discuss further or send them directly to the hospice or taken them to your nearest shop.
