What is RideFest?
This year, our popular Ridefest cycle challenge can be completed in three different ways.
RideFest is our flagship sponsored corporate static bike challenge. The event is for local businesses and their staff to take part in and compete against other businesses in Suffolk.
The event, which takes place in your workplace, is made up of four races, three of which see staff work together in a bid to cycle as many miles as possible within a 30 minute time frame. The final race will involve just a senior manager or CEO as they take to the saddle to once again cover as mile miles as they can.
In addition to the registration fee of £99, which covers the event costs, we are asking companies to raise a minimum of £350. This equates to eight individual therapy sessions for someone to help them come to terms with the loss of parent, child or family member. However, last year a number of businesses raised over £1,000 so the sky really is the limit!
The event runs over a two week period starting on 12 February 2018 and the top three teams/ businesses that travel the largest distance will join the business that has raised the most amount of money at the grand finals Night on Thursday 1 March 2018, at Trinity Park, to see who will be crowned the RideFest ’18 Champion.
This year’s finals night will also see the return of the mascot race whilst a new CEO title race will close the celebrations.
Entrants must be 18 years of age or over on 12 February 2018.
Any rider under the age of 18 must include the name and authorisation of the parent/guardian who will be accompanying them during the ride.
