Vinyl pop-up shop comes to St Elizabeth Hospice shop in Framlingham

10 July 2015

The St Elizabeth Hospice shop in Market Hill, Framlingham, is hosting a 7-day pop-up vinyl shop – and there will be thousands of records on sale.

It opens on Monday 13 July and is expected to be hugely popular with music fans looking to grab some bargains and fill the gaps in their collections.

Shop manager Rachail Pollard said “Vinyl has been enjoying a recent surge in popularity, and thanks to the generosity of people who donate to our shops, we’ve got some really great records in store, from jazz and classical, to rock n roll and pop.

“We held a vinyl pop-up shop at the beginning of the year at our shop in Dog’s Head Street, Ipswich, which was very successful and we’re hoping it will be just as popular with the local community here in Framlingham.”

Donations of vinyl are also welcome, along with clothes, accessories, books, DVDs, homeware and games and can be dropped off at the shop during opening hours, Monday – Saturday, 9am – 5pm.

Mrs Pollard added: “If there’s enough vinyl leftover, the pop-up shop will be going to our shop in Stowmarket from 20 July, so if Framlingham is too far for you to visit, why not pop into our Stowmarket shop in Bury Street and check out the music collection there.”
