Documentation principles and legalities

This session focuses on the need for good documents and record keeping (if it’s not recorded, then it hasn’t happened) this is a great foundation for new staff and individuals unsure about confidentiality, record keeping and documentation. The session is both informative and interactive with a good variety of practical activities, presentation; group discussion and handouts and information to take away.

Suitable for any health or social care professionals (care and nursing staff home staff, cares in the community and health care professionals) who work with life-limiting conditions or have an interest in developing their knowledge around recording of documentation.

  • To assess the challenges that health professionals encounter
  • To review and discuss legal and professional issues and the consequences of poor documentation
