Volunteer Complementary Therapists – St Elizabeth Hospice at Beccles Hospital

Volunteer Role Description

We are seeking Volunteer Complementary Therapists to care for our patients on the In Patient Unit, Community Unit and Out Patients departments at Beccles Hospital and also at other locations, to be confirmed, throughout Great Yarmouth and Waveney.

Volunteer Therapists will be required to hold recognised relevant professional qualifications in their specialist area, ie: Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Massage, Bach Flowers, and to confirm membership of a relevant professional body.

Good communication skills, adaptability, the ability to handle sensitive information, and a kind & compassionate nature are further essential qualities for this role.

St Elizabeth Hospice has a volunteer mileage/expenses policy which allows volunteers to claim expenses and mileage incurred whilst carrying out their role for the hospice.
