How the Inpatient Unit has adapted during COVID-19

In our series of looking at how various departments have adapted during COVID-19, this week we look at how our clinical team have pulled together on the Inpatient Unit during the pandemic.

Sarah Empson has been working hard on IPU to provide care for patients and support for families during this difficult time.

The team have had to adapt by wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during their shifts which has been a challenge but essential in providing the safest care for everyone – patients, families, staff and volunteers.

Watch the video below to hear more from Sarah and her thank you to supporters who have donated so generously during the pandemic.
