Salary: WTE: 24,907.00 to £30,615.00 – band 5

Hours:         Part time – various options ranging from 16.75 to 22.5 hours per month, weekends Friday – Sunday.

St Elizabeth Hospice is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and flexible team as part of our weekend short break service to provide holistic, person-centred care and support to young adults living with progressive illness and complex health care needs.

The successful applicants will have a willingness to support young adults to plan their weekend short breaks, maximising opportunities to increase independence, try new experiences, have fun and socialise with others.

Whilst enabling the young adults to enjoy a fun and comfortable stay you will be required to assume the role of shift coordinator, leading the short break care of two young adults staying for the weekend at the hospice.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Zest Team at St Elizabeth Hospice, your local hospice at the heart of the community, and to be part of something special that is happening in Suffolk.

Training will be provided to ensure you are competent and confident to support young adults with complex care needs.
