St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people in east Suffolk living with a progressive or terminal illness. Our work is centred on an individual’s needs, which means specialist support, whenever and wherever it is needed, whether at home, in the community or at the hospice. Through medicine and therapy we ease pain; we give life purpose and make life liveable.

Would you like to be part of an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team working with young adults living with progressive illness and complex health care needs?

St Elizabeth Hospice is looking for a Young Adult Care Support Worker to support our rapidly developing young adult care service, working with teenagers and young adults, aged 14 – 40 years.

You will have responsibility for coordinating the young adult social group and family drop-in, with experience in delivery of inclusive activities.

You will be working to support transition from children’s to adult’s services, and also assisting with the exciting new pilot of weekend short break for young adults.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join St Elizabeth Hospice, your local hospice at the heart of the community, and to be part of something special that is happening in Suffolk.

For an informal discussion or to arrange a visit please contact Helen Finlinson, Young Adult Care and Transition Lead on 01473 707032 or email helen.finlinson@stelizabethhospice.org.uk.
