St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people in east Suffolk living with a progressive or terminal illness. We are looking for a Volunteer Partnerships Administration Coordinator to be responsible for the administration, coordination and monitoring of voluntary activity across St Elizabeth Hospice.
You will be required to:
- act as first point of contact for potential volunteers, answering calls, and emails, taking messages and proactively following up on any actions or queries.
- match volunteers to areas compatible with their skills and to maximise these to the benefit of St Elizabeth Hospice and the volunteer.
- administer the recruitment and selection of volunteers to work in various supporting roles across St Elizabeth Hospice and to ensure a timely, organised compliant and consistent procedure throughout; this includes tasks such as preparing role profiles, drafting advertisements, arranging interviews, administering DBS checks and maintaining relevant trackers.
- Maintain the volunteer team shared drive and volunteer database to ensure accurate filing, saving and archiving, adhering to General Data Protection Regulations.
The ideal candidate will have Excellent MS Office skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and have proven work experience with transferable skills.
