For over 30 years St Elizabeth Hospice has driven forward innovation and development of services, both in the Ipswich and East Suffolk locality and now further up the coast to the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area through our partnership working with East Coast Community Healthcare.
This is an exciting time for St Elizabeth Hospice. It is a time of expansion, development and investment in the Hospice Team. We are offering an opportunity to be part of and eventually lead the Specialist Palliative Care Therapy Team influencing the holistic care and palliative rehabilitation of patients with progressive and life limiting illness within the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area. This is a chance to make a real difference to people’s lives.
Are you an enthusiastic Registered Physiotherapist with management experience and can demonstrable experience and knowledge of providing care to people with a palliative care need?
We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our expanding Therapy Team. You would initially provide a clinical role working alongside the current Therapy Team Leader with a future opportunity of leading the team at a later date. We are proud to have a strong palliative rehabilitation model within St Elizabeth Hospice. You would be part of a team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and a Rehabilitation Assistant providing specialist palliative rehabilitation input. The locations we see patients in are varied and this post involves community, inpatient and community care unit work.
In return we offer:
- mirror Agenda for Change with regard to salary and enhancements (however not reckonable service)
- generous holiday entitlement
- personal pension plan (NHS Pensions are transferrable)
- excellent training opportunities
- employee assistance programme
- free parking
