The People & Culture team provide a comprehensive people business-partnering service to all business areas of St Elizabeth Hospice and the Care Agency. Working with leaders and key stakeholders, we shape, develop and deliver people plans and solutions in line with the business needs of the hospice and our 5-year strategic plan.
Following a period of growth, we are looking to strength our team and have a new opportunity for a Senior People Advisor to join our busy People & Culture team.
This new role will proactively manage and support the work of the People Advisors to deliver a high quality comprehensive People & Culture service. This will involve working in partnership with leaders and managers to provide front-line guidance and support on all aspects of operational people management and to be a subject matter expert on complex employment cases and projects within the team.
We are a small but effective team offering a wide range of people services across a multi-disciplined workforce. This means you will have the opportunity to be part of a great team environment, working on all aspects of people management including innovative new people initiatives and projects.
The ideal candidate for this role will be CIPD qualified with proven practical experience in the delivery of operational people management including experience of coaching and advising managers and staff on a variety of people issues. You will have a sound understanding of employment legislation and be used to partnership working with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to adapt your approach to different situations.
As well as being a strong team player with previous management experience of guiding, supporting and mentoring other members of the people team on complex or challenging situations you will demonstrate a passion for People & Culture with high-levels of motivation, resilience and the ability to take ownership.
