St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people in east Suffolk living with a progressive or terminal illness. Our work is centred on an individual’s needs, which means specialist support, whenever and wherever it is needed, whether at home, in the community or at the hospice. With proven retail management experience you will need to be able to provide additional management relief cover in retail outlets including days off, annual leave, new shop openings and vacancies. Flexibility will be required to hours/days worked will be required as is the ability to work up to 37.5 hours as and when needed. You will working with and managing volunteers who are integral to our business ensuring that there are high standards of merchandising, layouts and displays.
You will be required to:
- Work with all members of the retail management team as designated, take responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the relevant hospice outlet
- Maintain a high standard of service with both donors and customers
- Agree with location manager an action plan and priorities during the relief period
- Take an active part in the sorting of donations ensuring that high standards are maintained.
