Purchasing Coordinator

St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people in east Suffolk living with a progressive or terminal illness. Our work is centred on an individual’s needs, which means specialist support, whenever and wherever it is needed, whether at home, in the community or at the hospice. Through medicine and therapy we ease pain; we give life purpose and make life liveable. One of the main lines of income for the Hospice comes through our Retail Division.

Working under some supervision the post holder will have responsibility for all aspects of purchasing and ordering for the hospice which will include, but is not limited to; providing a full procurement solution to all departments, ensuring the purchasing process is being followed and adhered to and liaising with suppliers and contractors to source competitive prices and quotes.

The successful applicant should possess an NVQ level 2 in administration or have relevant office administration experience. A Purchasing or Procurement qualification would be an advantage. Experience of working in a busy administration environment is essential along with excellent organisational and IT skills.

We are looking for creative, dynamic individuals who are forward thinking ensuring the continued success of the Hospice.
