People (HR) Advisor

Status: initial 12-month contract with potential opportunity for permanent hours. 37.5 hours (5 days) per week / 30 hours (4 days) would be considered

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum pro rata

The People & Culture team provide a comprehensive people business partnering service to all business areas of St Elizabeth Hospice and the Care Agency. Working with leaders and key stakeholders we shape, develop and deliver plans and solutions in line with the business needs of the hospice and our 5-year strategic plan.

Following a period of growth at St Elizabeth Hospice we have a new opportunity for a further People Advisor to join our busy People & Culture team on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.

Under the direction of the Head of People & Culture you will assist in providing an effective business partnering service and be responsible for the provision of advice and support to managers on all aspects of people & culture. The role will also support a number of cross-functional people projects that are instrumental in the delivery of our people plan.

The ideal candidate for this role will have proven practical experience in the delivery of operational people management including experience of advising managers and staff on a variety of people issues.  As well as excellent communication skills, you will be self-motivated, resilient and have the ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities and demands.
