People (HR) Advisor

Status: Permanent - 37.5 hours (5 days) per week

Salary: £28,288 - £30,800 per annum depending on experience

Following a period of growth at St Elizabeth Hospice we have a new opportunity for a People Advisor to join our busy People & Culture team.

We provide a comprehensive people service to all business areas of St Elizabeth Hospice and the Care Agency. Working with leaders and key stakeholders, we shape, develop and deliver people plans and solutions in line with the needs of the hospice.

You will partner, advise and guide managers and staff in your key directorates on all aspects of people & culture. The role will also support a number of cross-functional people projects to enable and develop our people managers, which are instrumental in the delivery of our people plan.  There will be also opportunities to suggest and implement improvements to the way we work.

The ideal candidate for this role will have proven practical experience in the delivery of operational HR advice and projects, including experience of advising managers and staff on a variety of people issues with confidence, delivering training, and approaching situations proactively.  As well as excellent communication and coaching skills, you will be self-motivated, resilient and have the ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities and demands.
