St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people living with a life-limiting or incurable illness. Our work is centred on an individual’s needs, which means specialist support, whenever and wherever it is needed, whether at home, in the community or at the hospice. Through medicine and therapy we ease pain; we give life purpose and make life liveable.

For over three years we have been delivering specialist palliative care in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area so we are looking to recruit a new member of our Volunteer Team.

We are looking for someone to build relationships across multi-disciplinary teams; providing ideas and suggestions to proactively recruit and retain volunteers for clinical, retail and community roles.

You will be required to:

  • be responsible for overseeing the sourcing and recruitment of volunteers for your business areas.
  • provide ideas and suggestions on attraction activities for your business areas to form the overall marketing plan for the Volunteer Team.
  • build effective relationships with the line managers of volunteers, providing advice & guidance in relation to their volunteers, and ensuring that service level agreements are met.

The ideal candidate will have previous work experience in a confidential environmental with transferable skills and able to demonstrate excellent standard of literacy and numeracy.  Own transport, current driving licence and knowledge of the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area are essential.
