St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people in east Suffolk living with a progressive or terminal illness. Our work is centred on an individual’s needs, which means specialist support, whenever and wherever it is needed, whether at home, in the community or at the hospice. Through medicine and therapy we ease pain; we give life purpose and make life liveable.
We are looking for an IT Technician to assist the Head of IT & MI in ensuring the availability and smooth running of the Hospice’s ICT systems ensuring all staff have the necessary support and guidance.
You will be required to:
- maintain day-to-day operations of all Hospice ICT systems and liaise with external providers as required to ensure smooth running of all systems.
- implement changes and enhancements as instructed by the Head of IT & MI to develop and support the Hospice IT infrastructure, procuring and installing software and hardware as required.
- provide telephone and desktop support to IT users of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and other software packages including remote users.
- proactively monitor the IT helpdesk and prioritise and resolve any requests/issues or escalate to the Head of IT & MI as appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant IT qualification e.g. BTEC National Diploma or equivalent and experience of Windows Server & Desktop, Office 365, Azure and SharePoint.
