St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people in east Suffolk living with a progressive or terminal illness. Our work is centred on an individual’s needs, which means specialist support, whenever and wherever it is needed, whether at home, in the community or at the hospice. Through medicine and therapy we ease pain; we give life purpose and make life liveable.
Our most recent Care Quality Commission report rated the hospice as “Outstanding”
Are you a Registered Nurse who wants to give the best possible care? Have you thought about a career in Specialist Palliative Care at St Elizabeth Hospice? Due to development in the nursing team at the hospice, we are looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our IPU team. Please note that we have a flexible workforce policy which means that employees will be deployed in other areas when there is the need to do so. This benefits service users and employees.
At St Elizabeth Hospice we are not just offering a job, but the chance to make a real difference in people’s lives. You will work within our multi-disciplinary team providing physical, psycho-social and spiritual care to patients and their families. You will contribute to the training and education of others, developing clinical practice across all aspects of palliative care nursing.
We offer support with revalidation and ongoing CPD through both in-house and external education, including an in house palliative care programme. NHS Pensions are transferable to the Hospice.
If you would like an opportunity to find out some more about working at the hospice we recommend a discussion prior to completing your application. Please contact Sarah Godfrey, Head of Nursing on 01473 707969 or sarah.godfrey@stelizabethhospice.org.uk
