St Elizabeth Hospice are here for individuals who are living with progressive or life-limiting illnesses wherever we are needed; in their home, in the community or at the in-patient unit at our Ipswich hospice. Last year we supported 3,185 patients ranging from 14 years old and upwards, and we have to generate over 70% of our funding ourselves, and this crucial role helps us to achieve this.
Reporting to the Head of Facilities & Estates you will manage, maintain and provide professional health, safety, infection control, environmental advice and quality support to all hospice sites, including over 30 retail units, ensuring that risks are effectively identified, managed and monitored. Coaching managers and employees to engage in sound HSE working practices you will ensure all colleagues are appropriately trained across all hospice sites including the retail units.
NEBOSH or other relevant, recognised H&S qualification is essential along with a strong understanding of health & safety regulations.
