Health & Safety Administrator

Status: Permanent - 22.5 hours per week – ideally worked over 3 days, will also consider hours worked over 5 days

Salary: £12,000 (WTE £20,000)

We are looking for an Administrator with excellent organisation and communication skills.  Working under some supervision from the Health and Safety Advisor, you will have responsibility for administration support for the Health and Safety department.

You will assist with site compliance, coordination and administrating health and safety records. Key responsibilities will include preparing agendas, collating reports and taking minutes at the Health and Safety and Infection Control meetings.  A Health and Safety qualification is desirable but not essential.

St Elizabeth Hospice are here for individuals who are living with progressive or life-limiting illnesses wherever we are needed; in their home, in the community or at the in-patient unit at our Ipswich hospice.  Last year we supported 3,185 patients ranging from 14 years old and upwards, and we have to generate over 70% of our funding ourselves, and this crucial role helps us to achieve this.
