St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people living with a life-limiting or incurable illness. Our work is centred on an individual’s needs, which means specialist support, whenever and wherever it is needed, whether at home, in the community or at the hospice. Through medicine and therapy we ease pain; we give life purpose and make life liveable.
Due to expansion of this important part of our service, we are seeking an individual who will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of St Elizabeth Hospice volunteering strategy. Ensuring that the 1500 plus volunteers are recruited, appointed, inducted, trained, supported and rewarded so that they are empowered to deliver high quality programmes, and in doing so have an outstanding and highly rewarding volunteering experience.
