Want to make your mark in Palliative Care? Time to consider a move to the East Coast!

  • Be at the forefront of designing and implementing new services
  • An unprecedented time of investment and service development in the area
  • CQC rated ‘outstanding’ hospice
  • Beautiful Suffolk/Essex coast
  • Supportive and ‘down to earth’ medical teams
  • Opportunity for lead roles in education and in young adult care.

A substantive Consultant post is available due to reconfiguration of services and recent expansion of the team.

After 30 years of delivering excellent care, St Elizabeth Hospice continues to drive forward innovation and development of services. This hospice post supports the development of new models of care, both in the Ipswich and East Suffolk locality and further up the coast to the Yarmouth and Waveney area.

This investment in the medical teams gives you the opportunity to be part of something special – building on the existing services and devising new services in the neighbouring locality. This beautiful area of the country supports a good work-life balance and is easily accessible to London and beyond. There are strong links between local acute and palliative care providers and with University of Cambridge Medical School and University of East Anglia.

The successful candidate will commence in the spring, to deliver community sessions and if they would like, to support the Young Adult Care and Transition service. They will be employed by St Elizabeth Hospice, supported by NHS Terms and Conditions. At least 8 sessions are available, with possibility of further sessions if desired.
