Community Fundraiser

Status: Permanent 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £25,800 to £28,500 pa

Due to internal promotion St Elizabeth Hospice are seeking a passionate, proactive and inspiring Community Fundraiser to join our fundraising team.   We are looking for someone who will help us to build community relationships with groups and schools, steward our amazing friends groups, third party supporters and fundraisers. The role holder will work as a key member of the Community Fundraising Team contributing to the successful delivery of the Fundraising Strategy and maximising income and support from the communities of East Suffolk and Great Yarmouth and Waveney.

Ideally you will have a background in fundraising or have transferable skills. The work is fast paced and will be varied, interesting and hugely rewarding and ideal if you are looking to develop your career in the third sector.

St Elizabeth Hospice are here for individuals who are living with progressive or life-limiting illnesses wherever we are needed; in their home, in the community or at the in-patient unit at our Ipswich hospice and we have to generate over 70% of our funding ourselves. Our Income generation team are key in helping us achieve this.

It is an exciting time to join our fundraising team with a number of forthcoming activity and campaigns including Be A Star, Christmas Tree Recycling, Great Garden Trail and bespoke challenges
