Catering Assistant – 19.5 hours per week – fixed term up to 12 months
St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people in East Suffolk living with a progressive or terminal illness. Our work is centred on an individual’s needs, which means specialist support, whenever and wherever it is needed, whether at home, in the community or at the hospice. Through medicine and therapy we ease pain; we give life purpose and make life liveable.
You will be required to:
- provide high quality meals to our patients, visitors and staff
- assist the Chef’s in the preparation of food to acceptable standards of hygiene
- provide high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining area
The ideal candidate must have excellent inter-personal skills as you will be liaising with our in-patients on a daily basis to get their menu choice advising as necessary on special requirements and dietary needs
