St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people in East Suffolk living with a progressive or terminal illness. Our work is centred on an individual’s needs, which means specialist support, whenever and wherever it is needed, whether at home, in the community or at the hospice. We are looking for a Domestic & Catering Assistant to join our Facilities Department.
You will be required to:
Domestic Duties – To ensure the hospice and associated buildings are cleaned and maintained throughout, delivering a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
Catering Duties – To assist the Chef and catering team in preparation and delivery of food for patients, employees and visitors within the hospice and associated buildings, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and quality is maintained.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in cleaning and catering, preferably within a healthcare environment, and with COSHH awareness and a valid driving licence. It is essential to have the ability to understand and comply with Health & Safety policy and legislation.
