Verity is responsible for patient services and quality of care; encompassing nursing, social work, therapy and spiritual care across the Inpatient Units, Day Units and in the community.
She leads a multi-professional team of Nurses, Nursing and Therapy Assistants, Occupational and Physiotherapists, Complementary Therapists, volunteers, social care workers, Art and Music Therapists and the Chaplain.
She is the Registered Manager for the Hospice and the Accountable Officer. Verity works with the Chief Executive, Trustees and other members of the Senior Management Team on the strategy and vision for the Hospice.
