St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people living with a progressive illness such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease andĀ in theĀ advanced diseases such as heart, lung or kidney diseases.

We aim to improve quality of life and our work is centred around an individual's needs, providing specialist support, wherever it is required, whether at home, in the community or at the Hospice.

We help people deal with problems such as pain, anxiety and fatigue, as well as offering practical advice and family support.

We offer a wide range of services in the community and also through our day units, inpatient units and our family support team as well as St Elizabeth Hospice OneCall, our 24 hour, 7 days a week advice line. To find out more about our services click here.

Care is delivered by a skilled multidisciplinary team including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, complementary therapists, family support workers and healthcare assistants.

We also support family members and carers as well as patients.

We have round 1,000 volunteers who help across all aspects of the organisation including supporting patient care.
