Patients

At St Elizabeth Hospice we support people in East Suffolk who have an illness from which they will not recover such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease and other advanced diseases such as heart or lung diseases.

We aim to improve quality of life and our work is centred around an individual's needs, providing specialist support, wherever it is required, whether at home, in the community or at the Hospice.

We help people deal with problems such as pain, anxiety and fatigue, as well as offering practical advice and family support.

We offer a wide range of services through our day unit, in-patient unit, in the community and our family support team. To find out more about our services click here.

Care is delivered by a skilled multidisciplinary team including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, complementary therapists, family support workers and healthcare assistants.

We also support family members and carers as well as patients.
