Health and social care workers

St Elizabeth Hospice, which opened in November 1989 in Foxhall Road, Ipswich, offers a wide range of services, including an in-patient unit with 18 beds. The Hospice improves the quality of life for people in East Suffolk who have an illness from which they will not recover (palliative care). Our work is centred around individual's needs, providing specialist support, wherever it is required, whether at home, in the community or at the Hospice. We help people deal with problems such as pain, anxiety and fatigue, as well as offering practical advice and family support.

We have now launched St Elizabeth Hospice OneCall, for anyone in East Suffolk to use for advice on palliative and supportive care.

Members of the public, patients, relatives, carers, GPs, nurses and other medical professionals and health and social care workers can call and get expert advice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  For out of hours referrals to Hospice at Home or for referrals to the Hospice, please use the OneCall number. Calls are free from a BT landline, calls from other networks and mobiles may vary
