Health and social care workers

St Elizabeth Hospice offers a wide range of services, including an inpatient unit with 21 beds.

The Hospice improves life for people living with a progressive illness. Our work is centred around the individual's needs, providing dedicated palliative care, wherever it is required, whether at home, in the community or at the Hospice.

We help people deal with problems such as pain, other symptoms. anxiety, fatigue etc, as well as offering practical advice and family support. Read more about St Elizabeth Hospice on the About us page.

The Hospice's clinical staff (including senior nurses, CNS, speciality grade doctors and consultants) are available to advise doctors, nurses and other health, social and allied healthcare professionals about general and specialist palliative care issues.

We have also launched St Elizabeth Hospice OneCall, for anyone in East Suffolk, North Essex and South East Norfolk to use for advice on palliative and supportive care.

Members of the public, patients, relatives, carers, GPs, nurses and other medical professionals and health and social care workers can call and get expert advice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

For out of hours referrals to the Hospice, please use the OneCall number. Calls are free from a BT landline, calls from other networks and mobiles may vary.
