Great Yarmouth and Waveney specialist palliative care telephone advice line

St Elizabeth Hospice won a 12-month contract to provide an out of hours specialist palliative care telephone advice line to NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney from 1st April.

The telephone advice line will provide expert advice about palliative care from clinical nurse specialists and palliative care consultants.

The new St Elizabeth Hospice out of hours service will run from 5pm-9am Monday to Sunday and is available to GPs, nurses and other medical professionals, health and social care workers and their patients in Great Yarmouth and Waveney.

The number is 0800 56 70 909 and calls are free from a BT landline.

9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am - 2pm Saturday and Sunday expert advice is available from the specialist palliative care team based at the James Paget University Hospital.
