As a professional healthcare organisation we are committed to maintaining and improving the quality of the service that we provide to patients and their families.

We carry out internal audits as a matter of course and are also the subject of Quality Review (QR). Our latest review is the 2007 Summary of Quality Audit Review.

We act on the results of these audits, using the feedback that they supply to improve the way that we work.

Our programme of continuous improvement is further supplemented by the work of the Healthcare Commission and other bodies who also audit us at regular intervals.

The Healthcare Commission is there to ensure we comply with the Care Act 2000.

In addition, complaints about the NHS and independent health services that have not been successfully resolved at a local level, are the responsibility of the Healthcare Commission.
