Fundraising
Fundraising is vital to the running of the Hospice and ensures we are able to continue to develop our services now and in the future. It costs £6.6 million a year - that's £13 a minute - to continue to provide our services free of charge, and most of that is met through donations, fundraising and the amazing support of the Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney community.
There are many simple ways you can help raise funds to support our work:
- Holding an event
- Giving in memory
- Setting up a St Elizabeth Tribute Fund
- Leaving us a gift in your Will
- Donating instead of receiving presents
- Recycling
- Getting your community group involved
- Joining or starting a friends group
- Supporting us at your place of work
- Supporting us in schools
However you choose to support us, we greatly appreciate your help.

Each of the Hospice's community fundraisers is now responsible for a dedicated area of Suffolk.

Suffolk Coastal including Woodbridge and Felixstowe: Andrea Chupacova, Community Fundraiser
Babergh: Emily Sullivan, Community Fundraiser

Our Community Fundraising team can help and support people wanting to raise money for the Hospice whether you want to organise a concert, hold an open garden or fancy taking on the challenge of a lifetime such as a skydive or overseas trek. They can also give a talk about the work of the Hospice to your community group, visit your local school or help you fundraise at work. Our community fundraisers are here for you.
