The Hospice is an independent charity which provides its services free of charge. Our services cost £6.6 million a year to run, or £13 a minute. We rely heavily on the support of the local community. More than three quarters of our income is generated by the public in ways such as making donations to the Hospice

Here are just a few ways your donations could help:

£30 could help to provide a Hospice at Home nurse telephone support call
£100 could help to provide an art therapy session
£270 could help to provide a day care visit for one patient
£480 is the average cost per day of one bed on the in-patient unit

Make sure to Gift aid your donation

Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways you can help St Elizabeth Hospice. Using Gift Aid means that for every £1 you donate we can claim an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue at no extra cost to you.
