What is palliative care?
Palliative care describes care given to patients with active, progressive and advanced illness for whom the focus of care is quality of life. This involves providing relief from pain and other distressing symptoms.
Palliative care aims to treat patients in a holistic way providing physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual support.
Palliative care also includes support and care for families, friends and carers.

We would like to welcome you and your family to our Light up a Life events this Christmas. These services are open to everyone, not just those touched by hospice care, to remember their loved ones at this special time of the year.
