Chief Executive
Lesley Cockerton
The Chief Executive is responsible for the overall management of the Hospice, ensuring the Hospice Management Committee is aware of all relevant matters relating to the function of the Hospice.The Chief Executive is also responsible for developing and leading a culture, system and way of working which assures that the quality of care is at the heart of service provision.
Director of Patient Services

The Director of Patient Services focuses on the provision of professional and clinical care, encompassing nursing, the therapies, social work, complementary therapies and spiritual care.
Director of Corporate Services
Brian Bolt
The Director of Corporate Services has overall responsibility for managing the Hospices support services encompassing finance, human resources, education, I.T., maintenance, catering and cleaning.
Director of Income Generation and Marketing
Alison Lanchester
The Director of Income Generation and Marketing ensures opportunities for maximising income are researched and has overall responsibility for the lottery team, fundraising and retail, as well as the marketing and communications team.
Medical Director

The Medical Director is responsible for ensuring that the Hospice develops its medical services to meet the changing needs of patients with a life-limiting illness.
In-Patient Unit manager

The In-Patient Unit manager coordinates admission and discharge to the IPU, working closely with patients, families and the Hospice team and manages the nursing team including recruitment, staff development and support.
Day Care manager

The Day Care manager is responsible for overseeing day care and out-patient services, providing support for people living in their own homes.
Family Support team leader

The Family Support team leader manages a team of specialist professionals who offer emotional, spiritual, psychological and practical support to patients and their relatives, children and friends.This is either at the Hospice or in their own homes and may be by working 1:1, as a family or with other people in groups.The support the team offers is ongoing throughout the patients illness and also includes bereavement support .

The Hospice at Home team leader manages a team of specialist nurses and healthcare assistants who provide care to patients in their own homes.
Head of Education

The Head of Education is responsible for education and training both internally and externally. Internally, this includes identifying the training needs of all staff and volunteers and coordinating placements for students or staff from Suffolk PCT. Externally, this includes delivering education and training sessions in palliative and end of life care to other clinical, allied health and social care professionals or by providing work based education workshops.
