Welcome to St Elizabeth Hospice

St Elizabeth Hospice

Gardens open across Suffolk in aid of Hospice

From May to September, gardens will be opened to the public throughout Suffolk, with all proceeds benefiting St Elizabeth Hospices patients, families and carers.

These range from small cottage gardens to the large and grand and include features such as orchards, walled gardens, natural ponds, waterfalls, woodland walks, and even a vineyard. There is often the chance to meet the owners, enjoy home made refreshments and purchase plants.

The open gardens are a chance to see beautiful gardens and unusual plants and flowers commented Laura Backhouse, community fundraiser at St Elizabeth Hospice. What a great way to spend a relaxing summers afternoon and you may even get some inspiration and ideas for your own garden. We would also like to hear from people who would be interested in opening their garden for us in the future.
