Welcome to St Elizabeth Hospice
St Elizabeth Hospice
Bereavement support
We offer bereavement support to anyone who was close to the person who has died (family members, carers or friends) and support will be available as long as you need it.
We have a team of dedicated and experienced family support workers and bereavement volunteers who support people either individually or through the regular bereavement groups held at the Hospice.
The bereavement service offers
- Individual sessions with a family support worker either at the Hospice or at home
- Telephone support by specially trained bereavement support workers
- Bereavement groups
- Saturday Group - a group held on Saturday afternoons once a month which offers social contact with others
- A Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance held a year after the bereavement
- One day bereavement workshops for children
